Plasma Cutting
PLASMA CUTTING
Plasma cutting is a versatile and efficient technique, and at Chiulan SRL, we are dedicated to providing you with customized solutions that meet your exact requirements. With solid experience in the field and state-of-the-art equipment, we guarantee you precise results and superior quality.
WHAT IS PLASMA CUTTING
The plasma cutting process consists of precise cutting of electrically conductive materials, such as steel and other metals, using a special torch equipped with a plasma jet.
In this process, an inert gas or, in some cases, compressed air is introduced into the cutting area through a high-pressure nozzle. At the same time, an electric arc is created between the torch nozzle and the workpiece. The heated electric arc transforms the gas into an extremely hot, ionized plasma. This plasma is powerful enough to cut through the metal and remove the molten material from the cutting area, thus ensuring remarkable precision and efficiency in the cutting process.
CNC PLASMA CUTTING
Our CNC plasma cutting services for steel cover a wide range of sizes and specifications:
- Thickness : between 1.5 and 40 mm
- Width : up to 3.1 meters
- Length : maximum 13 meters
Whether you need precise cutting or complex contours, our experienced team can handle any requirement with skill and attention to detail.
At Chiulan SRL, we care about our clients’ comfort and satisfaction. That’s why we offer flexibility in material selection: you can supply the required material yourself or take advantage of our current stock, which includes high-quality steel such as S235JR or S355J2.
Quality is a key element of our services. We adhere to the highest quality standards, and our plasma cutting quality falls within range 3–4, according to the IS 9013 standard. In this way, we ensure that you will receive the finest finished products.
PLASMA CUTTING – ADVANTAGES
- High efficiency
- Ability to cut materials with thicknesses ranging from 1.5 to 40 mm, depending on the type of material and the power of the plasma source
- The heat-affected zone is larger than in laser cutting, but it remains relatively small, especially with high-definition plasmas
- Cutting quality is excellent, and parts produced with high-definition plasma generally require no additional finishing

No matter the size or complexity of your project, we are here to provide you with customized solutions tailored to your needs.
